My mind is still trying to wrap itself around the sheer amounts of gluten free products that were displayed at the expo. My stomach still hurts from all the gluten free products I tried. (There was just sooo much!!) And my feet are ready to run to Smith’s to see what kind of deals I can come up with because I’ve got double coupons burning a hole in my pocket!!

You see, at almost every booth you can imagine were coupons for products. Since Smith’s sponsored the event, they gave away plenty of Smith’s store coupons to use on gluten free products. Plus, the manufacturer’s gave away a bunch of coupons for their products. (And many you can match up and find on the internet). Soooo….double savings time!!

I was completely sold out by 12:10 pm. I was out of every bag, flyer, business card, you name it! I was finally tearing off pieces of cardboard from the shipping boxes to scribble my Sandwichpetals.com website address. We were finally reduced to having them take photos of my big roll up sign on their cell cameras” – Sandwich Petals
I attended the gluten-free expo today and I was blown away with how wonderful it was. I had no idea that there were so many new products out there. I was diagnosed with celiac disease 5 years ago and since then there has been so many more products available. I only new about 4 of the companies that were at the expo. I don’t know how many vendors were there, but I tasted most of them.

I can’t tell you how much it meant to me to be able to go to a place like this and taste everything and know that it is safe for me to eat. Usually I go to these expos and can’t eat much of anything. I was thrilled beyond words to find restaurants there with samples, and get coupons and samples of these wonderful, yummy gluten-free foods.

I was almost in tears at one point after tasting some cake that was just as good as I remember wheat cakes tasting. Having such a dreaded disease and not being able to participate in many activities that involve foods, for the last 5 years, this was like Heaven opening a door. I can’t thank you and the many vendors that made this happen enough.

Thank you so much for allowing me a day to feel normal and bringing the information of such great products to enrich mine and my husbands life. I cook almost every single meal that my husband and I eat and now I can have a break with the frozen gluten-free foods I saw at the expo and the restaurants, and other meals I got to taste. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
